For this album, Webb (guitar\/vocals) gathered a trio consisting of himself, future \u003cstrong\u003eGods\u003c\/strong\u003e and Jethro Tull member \u003cstrong\u003eJohn Glascock\u003c\/strong\u003e (bass), and \u003cstrong\u003ePaul Hancox\u003c\/strong\u003e (drums).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs with the previous Chicken Shack long-players, this disc features several Webb originals augmented with some well-chosen cover tunes. The album opens with a ferocious cover of \u003cstrong\u003eB.B. King\u003c\/strong\u003e's \u003cem\u003e\"Crying Won't Help You.\"\u003c\/em\u003e In a style akin to the \u003cstrong\u003eFaces\u003c\/strong\u003e or even some of the rowdier moments from the \u003cstrong\u003ePeter Green\u003c\/strong\u003e-led \u003cstrong\u003eFleetwood Mac\u003c\/strong\u003e, this trio grinds out the blues with a decidedly English edge, followed by the folkie \u003cem\u003e\"If I Were a Carpenter\"\u003c\/em\u003e. \u003cem\u003e\"Daughter of the Hillside\"\u003c\/em\u003e \u0026amp; is Webb's most impressive contribution to the album. This straight-ahead rocker is an ideal trio effort recalling the intense instrumentalism of \u003cstrong\u003eCream\u003c\/strong\u003e or early \u003cstrong\u003eLed Zeppelin\u003c\/strong\u003e.
