Aged only 18-years old, alongside fellow lead guitarist \u003cstrong\u003eScott Gorham\u003c\/strong\u003e, Robertson was key to creating Thin Lizzy’s distinctive and highly influential twin lead guitar attack, on hits such as ‘\u003cem\u003eThe Boys Are Back In Town\u003c\/em\u003e’ and ‘\u003cem\u003eJailbreak\u003c\/em\u003e’. Following the huge success of Thin Lizzy’s ‘Live And Dangerous’ double LP in 1978, Brian formed \u003cstrong\u003eWild Horses\u003c\/strong\u003e with \u003cstrong\u003eJimmy Bain\u003c\/strong\u003e, before joining Motörhead for 1983’s ‘Another Perfect Day’. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBut, it wasn’t until 2011 that he recorded his debut solo album\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eDiamonds And Dirt\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003eat the famed Polar Studios in Stockholm. Brian formed a band featuring \u003cstrong\u003eMichael Schenker\u003c\/strong\u003e Group vocalist \u003cstrong\u003eLeif Sundlin\u003c\/strong\u003e, Treat bassist \u003cstrong\u003eNalle Påhlsson\u003c\/strong\u003e and Europe drummer \u003cstrong\u003eIan Haughland\u003c\/strong\u003e. The album also featured vocal contributions from \u003cstrong\u003eRiverdogs \u003c\/strong\u003esinger \u003cstrong\u003eRob Lamothe\u003c\/strong\u003e and Brian himself.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInfluenced by \u003cstrong\u003eFree\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eBad Company\u003c\/strong\u003e, the album’s bluesy hard rock also revisited Thin Lizzy’s ‘\u003cem\u003eRunning Back\u003c\/em\u003e’ with two different versions, and ‘\u003cem\u003eIt’s Only Money\u003c\/em\u003e’, plus tracks by Brian’s Scottish pal, \u003cstrong\u003eFrankie Miller\u003c\/strong\u003e. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCD2 features\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe Brian Robertson Album\u003c\/em\u003e, a 13 track instrumental collaboration between Brian and R.
